This is emphasised by the inscription from the Author on the front endpaper – “To a good pupil/D. Hartley”. Wear to boards with a marking to spine and boards. Fading to the spine and some staining. Content is clean with some spotting. Edge wear and rubbing to the board edges. The dust wrapper has a few edge tears and small loss with light toning and some surface marks. Exceptionally rare signed.
