First Edition, first printings between 1956-63, with coloured frontispieces and a number of coloured and monochrome plates throughout. All in original cloth with gilt backs. A FINE, clean set in dustwrappers – none are price clipped. The wrappers are all fine (save for volume 1 which only has a little rubbing to extremities). The first volume is a second printing. A fine, fresh set in the original colourful wrappers of Attenborough’s earliest books, recording his ‘Zoo Quest’ animal-foraging expeditions in many different territories. A rare set by one of the leading presenters of all time.
