A first edition, first printing of ‘Ken Adam’ published by Faber in 2005. A fine copy of this softcover. Accompanying the book is a SIGNED still featuring Ken Adam and Sean Connery on the set of ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ and a hand-written letter from Adam which is dated 3rd December 2009 and reads: Dear Bill Godward, I signed all the envelopes you sent as well as the still of myself. Unfortunately I have no scripts or items signed by Cubby Broccoli. All the best for your Christmas Fund raising raffle, Yours sincerely, Ken Adam.’

Ken Adam (1921–2016) was a German-British production designer best known for his iconic work on James Bond films. He created bold, futuristic sets such as Dr. No’s lair and the War Room in ‘Dr. Strangelove’, blending modernism with dramatic scale. A two-time Academy Award winner, Adam revolutionised cinematic design by using architecture to express power, menace, and psychological tension, leaving a lasting influence on film aesthetics.
