A pair of first edition, first printings published by George Allen and Unwin in 1967 and 1973. ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’: First edition, first printing published by George Allen and Unwin in 1967. A very good copy. No inscriptions and internally a remarkably, clean copy. The laminate shows loss to the top of the spine. Some browning to the edges. Wear to the spine tips, including a bump to the spine top. Some wear to the corners. Illustrated by Faith Jacques – the original text!

‘Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator’: A very good book without inscriptions. No real loss to the laminate. Some rubbing to the corners. A little fading to the spine and a publisher’s price sticker to the rear panel.

A very nice pair of books now in protective covers.
