A first edition, first printing published by Geoffrey Bles in 1947. A very good book with some spotting to the page edges and minor bumping to the top corners of the front and rear boards. There is a small previous owner’s inscription and date on the front free end paper in black ink. In a very good unclipped wrapper with browning to the spine, a small chip to the head of the spine and minor wear to the edges. A slight soiling stain above the publisher’s name on the front cover.
