A first edition, first printing of ‘Timmy Tiptoes’ published by Warne and Co. in 1911. A very good copy without inscriptions, with a little rubbed patch to the front panel and some wear to the spine tips and corners. A very nice copy indeed.
The story of Timmy and Goody Tiptoes is the only Beatrix Potter story apparently set in North America – although this is implicit rather than stated anywhere in the book.
