£285.00

First edition, first printing. Published by Collins Crime Club in London, 1960. This is a very good copy. The clipped dust wrapper is markedly bright for this title, particularly at the spine. The rear panel has some handling marks and a stain and a rough patch to the rear panel. The boards are free from notable wear, though the tail of the spine is slightly bumped. The text blocks are also markedly clean, though the top edge has some slight toning present. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in very good condition.

The only Christie first edition published in the UK that contains stories with both Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, the writer’s two most famous detectives. It retailed in the UK for twelve shillings and sixpence and comprises six cases. It was not published in the US although the stories it contains were published in other volumes there.
