First edition, first printing of Nemesis by Agatha Christie, published by Collins Crime Club in London, 1971. This is a near fine copy, accompanied by a SIGNED photograph, inscribed ‘Best wishes/from Joan Hickson’ to the front free end paper, with very slight browning to head of the spine and mild toning to the text block. The near fine price clipped wrapper with price sticker to front flap fold, some mild bumping to the upper and lower edges.
Miss Marple first encounters Jason Rafiel in A Caribbean Mystery, where they solve a mystery. In his will, Rafiel leaves another mystery for Miss Marple to solve. ‘Nemesis’ was the final episode in Hickson’s series of films for television, broadcast on 25th December 1987.
