First edition, first printing of ‘Nemesis’. Published by Collins Crime Club in London, 1971. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has some mild scratches throughout and some mild wear at the corners. It has been price clipped. The boards are free from notable wear but with a slight bump at the top of the spine and some spotting to the page edges. Previous owner’s gift inscription to the front pastedown. Overall, this is a very good copy.
Accompanied by an ALS (on headed notepaper) from Joan Hickson to a Mr Booth. The letter reads: ‘17.2.85./Dear Mr Booth/Thank you for your kind/letter. Miss Marple first encounters Jason Rafiel in A Caribbean Mystery, where they solve a mystery. In his will, Rafiel leaves another mystery for Miss Marple to solve. ‘Nemesis’ was the final episode in Hickson’s series of films for television, broadcast on 25th December 1987.
