A first edition, first printing published by Collins in 1955. A very good book without inscriptions. Some slight bumping and chipping to the spine tips. In a like, unclipped wrapper with some light wear to the spine tips and corners. None of the usual heavy browning to the spine – some handling marks to the rear panel and internal staining. Some off-setting to the front flap of the dust wrapper and front free endpaper.
Agatha Christie’s “Hickory Dickory Dock” is a classic Hercule Poirot mystery published in 1955. The story unfolds at a London hostel plagued by petty thefts. Poirot is called in when a simple case takes a sinister turn – a seemingly minor crime escalates to murder. As Poirot investigates, he uncovers a web of secrets, hidden relationships, and a meticulously planned conspiracy. The titular nursery rhyme resonates throughout the narrative, providing clues to the case.
