A first edition, first printing of Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie, published by Collins in 1955. A near fine book, free from internal inscriptions, in original publisher’s crimson cloth bound boards, some creasing to the spine, with pushing to the spine tips, browning to the text block and ghosting to the front and rear free end papers. The near fine unclipped wrapper with fading to the spine, browning to the rear panel and rear flap, chipping to the knuckles of the front and rear flap folds, with chipping to the spine tips and open tear to the upper edge of rear panel.

Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie is a classic Hercule Poirot mystery published in 1955. The story unfolds at a London hostel plagued by petty thefts. Poirot is called in when a simple case takes a sinister turn – a seemingly minor crime escalates to murder. As Poirot investigates, he uncovers a web of secrets, hidden relationships and a meticulously planned conspiracy. The titular nursery rhyme resonates throughout the narrative, providing clues to the case.
