Issued without a dust wrapper, the quarter-blue buckram and pink paper-covered boards are bright. Slightly toned at the edges, and with some slight separation at the corners. Marginally bumped at the spine tips. The original white title label is slightly toned – some discolouration to the boards. The spare spine label is pasted onto the rear paste down. This copy is the true first issue, with pages 119/20 present. Free from inscriptions.
