First UK edition, first printing. Published by Methuen & Co. in London, 1969. This is a very good copy. The boards are with some separation at the corners and the spine is slightly loose. The front and rear panel are slightly faded but remain presentable. The internals are slightly foxed throughout. The authors signature is present on the full title page in black ink, inscribed to Johana and with a small drawing. Overall, this is a very good copy of a nice childrens title.
This is a story about a very strange older rich lady who enjoys spending her money on elephants, apparently…
