A first edition, first printing of ‘Biggles and the Gun Runners’ published by Brockhampton Press in 1966. A very good book without inscriptions with a little wear and toning to the edges. In a very good dust wrapper with a neat tape repair to the top of the spine (internally). Some rubbing to the edges and corners. Complete with a hand-written letter from W E Johns and dated Oct 24 1955. The letter is addressed to a Mr Fearnley and discusses the word counts on a number of articles written by Johns, as well as Johns’ agent Peter Watt.
