A first edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1951. A near fine book without inscriptions. Internally very clean indeed – some light spotting to the top edge. In a very good unclipped wrapper marred only by some rubbing to the spine tips and browning to the spine which is lightly spotting. Complete with the rare wrap-around band advertising the book as the Daily Mail book of the month award. A very nice copy indeed.
