A first edition, first printing of ‘Heritage’ published by Collins in 1919. A very good book with one or two faint spots to prelims and margins of text, pp.[vi]+250, crown 8vo, original red cloth, lettering on backstrip in black and on upper board in blind, backstrip faded with lean to spine, fraying to joints (the lower more so) and light wear at extremities, edges lightly toned and spotted, free endpapers faintly browned, good.
Vita Sackville-West’s first novel, this a ‘Review Copy’, with a blind-stamp to that effect on the title-page.
