A first US edition, first printing of Firestarter by Stephen King, published by the The Viking Press, New York in 1980. A near fine book inscribed, signed and dated 3/29/82 by King in blue ink to the front free end paper, additionally the name and address of the recipient of the inscription written in blue ink to the same page, boards three quarter bound in black paper with gilt initials of the author to front board, orange cloth bound spine with black and gilt titling with fading to the spine tips, staining to lower half of front board, spotting and staining to the text block with spotting to prelims. In a near fine unclipped wrapper, with fading to the spine chipping to the head of the spine and some bumping to extremities. Housed in a fine black faux leather slip case with crimson metallic titling.
