First edition, first printing. Published by Hamish Hamilton, London, in 1966. This is a very good (or better) copy. The strikingly plain, titular dust wrapper is clean with some slight spots of browning on the front and rear panels. There is slight wear at the top and tail edges and it has been not been price clipped, showing the original 25s. net price. The boards suffer from a slight bump to the bottom edge. The internals are clean throughout, but the text blocks suffer from mild toning to the top edge and very sparse browning to the bottom and side. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in very good (or better) condition.
