First trade edition (private edition published 1926), first printing. Published by Jonathan Cape in London, 1935. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper has a small area of separation at the top of the spine. There are some slight areas of wear at the spine tips and some abrasion to the front panel. It has not been price clipped and retails the original 30s. net price. The boards are fine, with the original publishers cloth and gold motif bright. The rough-cut text blocks are slightly toned and foxed due to poor paper stock. There is an area of abrasive residue to the front fly leaf, presumably the traces of an Ex-Libris sticker. This copy is free from previous owners ink. Complete with plates and maps. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine text.

The autobiographical account of the experiences of British Army Colonel T. E. Lawrence, of serving as a military advisor to Bedouin forces during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire of 1916 to 1918. It was completed in February 1922, but first published in December 1926.
