Ruth Alexander & Arnold Ridley – The Ghost Train – First Edition 1927
£225.00
First edition, first printing. Published by The Reader’s Library in London, 1927. This is a near fine copy. A beautifully illustrated dust wrapper, which has only slight shelf wear at the corners and edges, sits tight around the gilt and burgundy cloth-boards; they are tight and generally free from marks. There is a previous owners inscription which fills the front flyleaf, noting that this book was awarded to a Jack Harwood of Carrington Lower School in the year of publication, for ‘Nature Study’. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a nice title. Co-authored by Arnold Ridley of Dad’s Army.
