Roald Dahl – James And The Giant Peach – First UK Edition 1967
£600.00
First edition, first printing published by George Allen and Unwin in 1967. A very good copy. One small name (the brilliantly named Jonathan Kneebone!) to the top of the front pastedown, otherwise, aside from some fairly heavy spotting to the endpapers and prelims, internally a remarkably, clean copy. The laminate shows loss to the spine. Some browning to the edges. Wear to the spine tips.
Illustrated by Michel Simeon. Originally, Dahl was going to write about a giant Cherry!
