A first US edition, first printing of Jaws by Peter Benchley, published by Doubleday, New York in 1974. A very good book with a former owner’s name in black ink to the front free end paper, damp-staining to the rear board and toning to the text block. In a good unclipped wrapper with substantial chipping to the spine tips, similarly to the knuckles of the front and rear flap folds, a closed tear to the hinge of the spine on the front panel, creasing to the lower edge of front panel and a closed tear to the lower edge of the rear panel.
