An uncorrected proof copy of The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth, published by Hutchinson, London in 1971. A very good copy free from inscriptions, chipping to the spine tips, creasing and small areas of surface loss to the spine, the soft cover with creasing throughout, damp-staining to the front cover, diagonal loss of upper corner on front panel with a closed tear to the upper edge and several closed tears to the fore-edge, a closed tear to the rear soft cover with diagonal loss to the lower corner, toning to the text block, light spotting to the prelims and a closed tear to the fore-edge of the half title page.
