Description
First US edition, first printing. Published by Grosset & Dunlap in New York, 1980. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has one major tear to the front panel and curling to both edges, with some slight toning also present. The spine tips are slightly rubbed and there are slight handling marks also present. It has been price clipped. The author’s signature is flat signed to the half-title. The internals are else clean and the text blocks has some spotting. The boards are free from notable chips and marks. Overall, this is a very good copy of a fine signed title.
Catch Me If You Can is a semi-autobiographical book about criminal exploits allegedly engaged in by Frank Abagnale Jr., a onetime con artist. Abagnale claims that, as a young man, he cashed $2.5 million worth of bad checks while impersonating a Pan Am pilot, a doctor, a teacher, and an attorney.
