A true account of an African-American police officer in Colorado Springs who, in 1978, infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan. Stallworth initiated contact by phone and partnered with a white undercover officer to attend meetings in person, exposing racist activities from within. His investigation disrupted local Klan operations and revealed the group’s national reach. The memoir later inspired Spike Lee’s 2018 film ‘BlacKkKlansman’.
