Virginia Woolf – A Room of One’s Own – First UK Edition 1929
£2,250.00
A first edition, first printing published by Hogarth Press in 1929. A very good/near fine book without inscriptions. Some off-setting to the endpapers, some fading to the board edges and a little fading to the spine itself. In a dust wrapper which has benefitted from some professional restoration to the spine and to the edges and now presents very well indeed.
The work is based on two lectures Woolf delivered in October 1928 at Newnham College and Girton College, women’s constituent colleges at the University of Cambridge.
