A first edition, first printing published by The Hogarth Press in 1943. A very good book (one small owner’s name and date to fep and evidence of a previously pasted review to the rear end paper) – pages tanned due to the poor quality Wartime paper – but a nice example. In a very good+ unclipped wrapper with some light loss to the top and tail of the slightly browned spine and a little to corners. Unclipped. A lovely copy of a title which usually loses the spine of the dust wrapper.
