Thomas Hardy – Tess of the D’Urbervilles – First Edition – 1895

A first edition of the Collected Osgood Edition of the Wessex Novels – this being volume 1 – Tess of the D’Urbervilles, published in 1895. A very good book without inscriptions. Internal joints a little loose – Rubbing to the edges and corners. A nice presentation in one volume of Hardy’s most famous novel with facsimile signature to half title page.
