A first edition, first printing published by Faber in 1929. A very good book without inscriptions with some light chipping to the spine tips and corners. In a good+ unclipped wrapper with some internal archival tape repairs to the spine and folds. Spine browned. Chip to crown. With the small ticket of Mrs T S Eliot to the top of the front pastedown (a couple of digits next to this). Some light staining to the front pastedown. Rare given the provenance.
