A pair of first edition, first printings published by Dutton and Viking in 1996. Both books are very good in like unclipped wrappers – there is a little staining to the top of the edge blocks, but both are very presentable copies.
“Desperation” and “The Regulators” are two parallel novels by acclaimed author Stephen King, the latter written under his pseudonym Richard Bachman. These novels share interconnected themes and characters. “Desperation” is a horror story set in a small Nevada town, where a malevolent supernatural force possesses the town’s inhabitants, turning them into homicidal maniacs. “The Regulators” is set in the same town but in an alternate reality, where familiar characters and locations take on distorted and terrifying forms. Both books explore the themes of evil, chaos, and the battle between good and malevolence, showcasing King’s exceptional storytelling and his ability to create chilling and suspenseful narratives.
