SIGNED and INSCRIBED (with best wishes) to James Herriot from the Author on the front endpaper. Although Herriot was born in Scotland he was an adopted Yorkshireman. Barstow is about as Yorkshire as you get. Definitely the Yorkshireman’s copy of this book…
