A very good book, without inscriptions but with some fairly heavy spotting to the page edges and to the prelims. In the unclipped wrapper with some wear to the head and tail of the spine and corners – little handling marks to the rear panel. Cover art by Charles Gorham Exceedingly uncommon. One of the finest works of 20th Century supernatural fiction. One of the top 100 fantasy novels as suggested by Jim Cawthorn and Michael Moorcock [p167]. Recently adapted for Netflix, well received.
