Ruth Rendell – The Bridesmaid – SIGNED First Edition 1989
£45.00
First edition, first printing. Published by Hutchinson in London, 1989. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper features the original ‘First edition, Signed by the author’ sticker. There is little wear to note, aside from some slight rubbing to the top and bottom edges. It has not been price clipped, showing the original £11.95 net price. The authors signature is present on a bookplate to the front flyleaf, in blue ink. The text blocks are mostly free from foxing, though there are some sparse spots. This is a near fine copy overall.
It is generally considered a fan-favourite, and was adapted into an acclaimed 2004 film by Claude Chabrol.
