It has not been price clipped, showing the original £11.95 net price. The authors signature is to the title page in blue ink and dated April 14th, 1989. The text blocks are mostly free from foxing, though there are some sparse spots. This is a near fine copy overall.
It is generally considered a fan-favourite, and was adapted into an acclaimed 2004 film by Claude Chabrol.
