Russell Hoban – The Mouse And His Child – First Edition 1969
£150.00
A first edition, first printing published by Faber and Faber in 1969. A very good book with some damp staining to the spine and a little spotting to the top edge – without inscriptions in a near fine unclipped wrapper with a little wear to the edges. A classic children’s novel about a wind-up mouse. It is a dark philosophical tale for older children and was the first full length novel by the author to be published. Hoban was an expatriate US author, living in London from 1969.
