First edition, first printings of both the hardcover and proof of ‘Pompeii’ by Robert Harris. Published by Hutchinson in London, 2003. Both are fine copies – SIGNED to the title page. The dust wrapper of the hardcover has some mild creasing and chipping to the top edge and has not been price clipped. The corners are slightly bumped at the spine tips and there are light surface scratches throughout. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are mostly free from foxing. The authors signature is flat signed to the full title page in blue ink to both volumes. Overall, these are fine copies of a nice signed title.
