A first edition, first printing published by Dent in 1941. A very good book with previous owner’s bookplate to front endpaper beneath signature of the Author without dedication. Some bumping to the head and base of the spine and the bottom edge of the rear board. Offsetting to the front and rear free end papers with slight spotting. In a good unclipped wrapper with some loss to the top and base of the spine, stretching onto the bottom of the rear cover. Shelf wear can be seen to the corners and edges. Light spotting to the front and rear fold downs.
