Roald Dahl – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – First Edition 1967
£750.00
First edition, first printing. Published by George Allen & Unwin in London, 1967. This is a near fine copy. The front and rear panels are clean and bright with some very slight bumping to the corners and some minor toning. The laminate gone to the bottom 3cm of the spine, but remains on the front and rear panels. The text blocks are bright, clean and free from foxing. There is a couple of spots of browning to the text blocks, however. There is a neat gift inscription to the front endpaper, and is, overall, in near fine condition.
The story features the adventures of young Charlie Bucket inside the chocolate factory of eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka.
