A set of all first edition, first printings published between 1966 and 1971. Consisting:(1) The Jewel in the Crown’, first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1966. A near fine book with one name to the head of the endpaper. In a very good dust wrapper with a repair to the front hinge and some chipping to the spine tips and corners. (2) The Day of the Scorpion’ first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1968. A near fine book (previously the copy belonging to Richard Attenborough – there are some neat pencil notes to the front endpaper) in like unclipped wrapper with three small closed tears. (3) The Towers of Silence’ first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1971. A fine book without inscriptions (previous owners bookplate to the front endpaper). In a near fine unclipped wrapper. (4) A Division of the Spoils’ first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1975. A near fine book without inscriptions in a near fine clipped wrapper. A scarce set complete. Extra postage required overseas.
