A first edition, first printing of ‘Mary Poppins’ by P L Travers, published by Gerald Howe in 1934. A very good book without inscriptions, standing square and firm with the dark blue topstain complete and unblemished – some tape burns to the illustrated endpapers and some darkening to the edges and wear to the corners. Wear to the extremities. In a dust wrapper which has some restorative repair to the spine and top of the front and rear panels. Some wear to the folds and a small closed tear to the rear fold.
