First edition, first printing. Published by Herbert Jenkins in London, 1947. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper, bright and clean, is finely illustrated. It has not been price clipped. – showing 8’6 underneath a reprice sticker. There are some small, concealed repairs to the wrapper at the spine tips and corners. The spine is unfaded. The text blocks are slightly toned and lightly foxed. This copy has a previous ownership stamp, and is, overall, in very good condition. No housed in a custom-made slipcase.
