A first edition, first printing published by Constable in 1947. A near fine copy which is SIGNED by the author, without dedication, to the title page. Some slight bumping is evident to the spine tips. Top stain is slightly faded. Clean internally. In a like, unclipped wrapper which shows a little edge wear.
