Michael Bond – Paddington And The Marmalade Maze – First Edition 1987
£50.00
First edition, first printing. Published by Collins, London, in 1987. This is a fine copy. Issued without a dust wrapper, the paper-covered pictorial boards, illustrated by David McKee, are sharp at the edges and bright throughout. There is the original publishers price sticker on the rear panel, reading ‘£2.50’. The text blocks and the internals are clean. Overall, this is a fine copy.
As usual, Paddington manages to turn a perfectly normal outing into an adventure. Mr Gruber and Paddington are just about to be followed home by a crowd of eager tourists, when Paddington manages to lose them all in the maze. But, mysteriously, Paddington and Mr Gruber manage to escape from the maze unscathed…
