Len Deighton – SS-GB – First Edition 1978
£95.00
First edition, first printing. Published by Jonathan Cape in London, 1978. This is a very good copy. The Raymond Hawkey dust wrapper is mostly bright throughout, showing some slight creasing to the surface and bottom edge. The spine is slightly sunned. It has not been price clipped, showing the original £4.95 net price. The boards are fine with the silver foil back strip glistening. The text blocks are clean throughout, the top stain is NOT faded. It is free from previous owner’s inscriptions, however there is a stain to the fore-edge. This is a near fine copy.
SS-GB is a story about what would have happened if Hitler and the Nazis had won the Battle of Britain.
