The Raymond Hawkey dust wrapper is mostly bright throughout, showing some slight creasing to the surface and bottom edge. The spine is slightly sunned. There are handling marks throughout, particularly at the edges. It has not been price clipped, showing the original £4.95 net price. The boards are fine with the silver foil back strip glistening. The text blocks are clean throughout, though the top stain is slightly faded. It is free from previous owner’s inscriptions, however some of the front preliminaries are creased. This is a near fine copy.
