Three separate books, all first editions, first printings. Tinker Tailor, Soldier Spy published in 1974; The Honourable Schoolboy published in 1977; Smiley’s People published 1980. All books are near fine. ‘Tinker Tailor’ first edition first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1974. A near fine book (with spotting to the top edge) with one gift inscription to the front endpaper in a near fine unclipped dustwrapper with no fading to the spine. ‘The Honourable Schoolboy’ is a first edition, first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1977. A near fine book without inscriptions (crease to the half-title) in a near fine unclipped dust wrapper. ‘Smiley‘s People’ – A first edition first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1980. A near fine book in a near fine unclipped wrapper – some fading to the spine. All now protected in Brodart wrappers. The first volume was the basis for the 1970s series starring Sir Alec Guinness and latterly the excellent motion picture featuring Gary Oldman. A lovely set.
