First edition, first printing. Published by Jonathan Cape in London, 1962. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is bright and clean throughout, though with some slight toning to the rear panel and very (very!) slight sunning to the spine. It has been neatly price clipped but retains the original price of 21s. There is a small closed tear to the top edge. The corners are lightly bumped. Five reviews to the rear panel. The boards, in publisher’s red cloth, are bright and free from notable chips and marks. There is a medium previous owner’s inscription to the front fly leaf in blue ink, dated to the year of publication. The text blocks are bright and white throughout and free from foxing. Overall, this is a near fine copy.

Catch 22 is a satirical war novel. The novel was first published in 1961 and is a classic of American literature.
