First edition, first printing. Paperback. Published by the Grove Press in New York, 1986. This is a very good (or better) copy. The soft covers are slightly crumpled at the top and bottom edges, with some slight dog-earing at the corners. The gilt titling is bright but with some slight blemishes and scratching. The spine is markedly uncreased. The author’s signature appears on the front fly leaf in black ink, along with an accompanying inscription ‘Simon Fanshaw/An Marie McGrath’. The text blocks are slightly toned and the top is foxed. Overall, this is a very good copy of a fine production and the Author’s own copy.
