Signed by Moore on a loosely inserted postcard, which illustrated the moment the World Cup of 1966 was awarded. It is inscribed ‘Best wishes, Bobby Moore’ in blue ink. The dust wrapper, with frontal portrait of Moore is slightly toned and without notable wear, but with a moderate tear on the rear panel and slight rubbing throughout. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £4.25 net price, which has been scribbled out in blue ink. The maroon cloth boards, with gilt title, are free from chips and marks. The text blocks are bright and clean. Overall, this is a very good copy of a scarce signed title.
