A set of first edition, first printings published by Michael Joseph between 1970 and 1981. All are in near fine to fine condition. The first three volumes are signed to ‘Pat Mucklow’ and are clipped and are accompanied by a hand-written letter from a Mrs Harlow explaining how Herriot ‘thought it would be more personal if he could put your name in it’. The remainder are flat signed with ‘best wishes’ by the author on the title page. Rare to find a set of signed first editions.
