A first edition, first printing published by Gollancz in 1945. A good book with some off-setting to the edges and browning to the spine. One small stain to the front panel. Previous owner’s name to the front endpaper. In a very good unclipped wrapper with a small nick to the top edge and a little wear to the spine tips, but a much better example than is usually found.
